“Famous Texas Rangers” Program at George Memorial Library

George Memorial Library in Richmond will present a program on “Famous Texas Rangers” on Saturday, July 6, beginning at 1:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library.

Dr. Nicholas Cox, a professor of U.S. and Texas History at Houston Community College, will share fascinating stories of some of the most notable Texas Rangers throughout the history of the organization.

Dr. Cox received his doctorate degree in U.S. History from the University of Houston. In addition to teaching Texas history at Houston Community College, Dr. Cox has taught at the Bronx Academy of Letters in New York City and the University of Houston. He is a member of the Southern Historical Association, the Texas State Historical Association, and the Fort Bend County Historical Commission.
