Fort Bend County Libraries’ Missouri City Branch Library will present a program on “Dealing with Grief During the Holidays” on Friday, November 15, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm, in the Meeting Room of the library.
Holidays are thought to be times of joy for many, but for some, they can be sad reminders of loss. Licensed professional counselor Charissa Davis will share tips on recognizing the symptoms of grief, the importance of self-care, positive coping skills, and resources that are available.
Davis provides clinical supervision and mental-health education for AccessHealth community health center.
The program is free and open to the public.
