Weekly Children’s Programming Takes a Break in May; Special Programs Planned

In preparation for Fort Bend County Libraries’ Summer Reading Club, which begins May 27, the regularly scheduled, weekly children’s programs at all locations, except George Memorial Library, will NOT take place in May. The weekly children’s programs – such as Toddler Time, Story Time, and the After-School Breaks/School-Age Programs – will resume their summer schedule in June.

The children’s programs at George Memorial Library in Richmond will take place at their normally scheduled days and times for the first three weeks in May. They will resume in June after a 2-week break at the end of May. Click here for the May schedule of children’s programs at George Memorial Library.

As an alternative, three of the libraries have special programs planned in recognition of Mother’s Day. Families with children of all ages are invited to celebrate all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, or other motherly figures in their lives.
