Description

27 Latino women artist come together for Latino Art Now 2019! Fort Bend joins in the multi county Latino Art celebration.

The Fort Bend County Libraries and Contemporary Art Museum Fort Bend are collaborating by bringing professional museum curators and easily accessible public venues together to bring the community a great representation of Latino art today.

Join us for the artist reception on Sunday, March 24 from 2 to 4 PM. The exhibition runs March 8 through May 19, 2019. This exhibition is designed as a traveling exhibition and will be shared with other Fort Bend County Library locations to be announced soon.

Artists invited belong to the Houston group Latin American Women in the Arts Houston, LAWAH. The group was established by Glassell School instructor Arielle Masson to give a more powerful voice to the artists, to connect and support each other.
