Fort Bend County Libraries offers a variety of job-search resources, and several of our libraries are having some great workshops this month for job-hunters. “Zoom for Beginners”
Mission Bend Branch Library – 4:00-5:00 pm, Computer Lab. Zoom Video Communications is a cloud-based videoconferencing platform that can be used through a computer desktop or mobile app for virtual meetings and webinars or personal chats with friends and family. In this class, participants will learn how to join or schedule a Zoom session and how to use various controls during a session. This class is for adults and older teens. “YA: Mock Interviews & How to Prepare for the Real Deal”
Sienna Branch Library – 4:00-5:00 pm, Conference Room 2A. This Young Adult program is for teens in grades 9 through 12. Teens will prepare for entering the job market by getting tips for the interview. Learn about common interview questions, the best answers, and interview dos and don’ts.
