Program Description

Description

In this iconic romantic war drama from 1942, Academy Award winners Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman light up the screen in one of the most enduring romances in movie history. Bogart plays Rick Blaine, a cynical, world-weary, expatriate American café owner in French Morocco in the early days of World War II. Although his café is frequented by refugees desperate to escape German domination, Rick manages to remain uninvolved in the war raging across Europe and North Africa. Everything changes, however, when Ilsa Lund (played by Bergman) walks through the door with her fugitive husband. Rick must now choose between a life with the woman he loves and becoming the hero that both she and the world need. This film is rated PG.
