Fort Bend County Libraries’ First Colony Branch Library will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an Open House and Family Craft Corner! The public is invited to enjoy light refreshments, crafts, face painting, and live help with accessing digital resources.Participants will get a chance to make, decorate, and take your own crafts using materials provided by the library.  Face painting will be available from 2:30-3:30pm on a first come first serve basis.

First Colony Branch Library opened in June 1993, the second of four new branches built with bond-election funds voted for in 1989. It quickly grew to become the busiest of all library system locations. The 19,400 square foot building was designed by architect Brooks Association for Architecture and Planning, Mark A. Stewart, Design Architect. This open house is free and open to the public.This program is made possible thanks to the Friends of the First Colony Branch Library. No registration required.
