Description
Reel Talk is a series of documentary screenings at University Branch Library with brief discussions of the films after they are shown.
In March, in honor of Women’s History Month, we’re viewing Mercury 13, a documentary about a group of women pilots screened for spaceflight in the 1960s, but who never flew in space. This documentary explores topics such as: spaceflight, aviation, sexism, and women’s history. It runs 1 hour and 8 minutes.
Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4). Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff. Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated. Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
