Description

Reel Talk is a series of documentary screenings at University Branch Library with brief discussions of the films after they are shown.

In August, we’re viewing The Social Dilemma, a documentary about the dangerous impact of social networking, which can be used to manipulate and influence the public.  This documentary explores topics such as: technological addiction, mental health, fake news, propaganda, artificial intelligence, and psychological manipulation.  It is rated PG-13 and runs 1 hour and 34 minutes.

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
