Program Description

Description

This lecture will be about the women who flew all of the aircraft inventory of the Army Air Force during WW2.  They ferried aircraft from the factories to the shipping points, tested repaired aircraft, flew across the country, towed gunnery targets for the anti-aircraft gunners to practice shooting and died doing their duty to our country.  Their service was classified and not released until almost 30 years after the end of World War 2.
