English-language learners of any level are invited to practice conversation in a friendly, relaxed environment. This group meets the first and third Thursday of the month in Conference Room 2A!

Ice cream, ice cream, we all scream for ice cream! Join us for a fun hour of make this delicious sweet treat loaded with toppings of your choice. This program is geared for youth in grades 4-8.

In conjunction with the Children’s Museum of Houston, the library offers a variety of hands-on science activities for parents and children. This is a family program for all ages. Registration is not required, but seating is limited.

Join us for a screening of the 2003 teen comedy film starring Amanda Bynes and Colin Firth, about an American teenager who travels to London to meet her estranged father and discovers the challenges of fitting in with his high-society family.&nbsp

Teens can test their gaming skills and challenge other teens to video games, board games, Chess and card games. Snacks will be provided through the generous support of the Friends of the George Memorial Branch Library.
