The Vintage Car Display will be exhibited in the South Parking Lot.
Children can stop by the Puppet Theater in the Youth Department to hear “75 Books for 75 Years” – an ongoing Story Time throughout the event – when youth librarians will read beloved stories from through the decades.
The outdoor games and Face Painting will be available on the library's back lawn and in the breezeway between George Memorial Library and the Fort Bend County Library Administration Building.
Have your picture taken - for free - to commemorate the library system's 75th Anniversary! Your photos will be available to download online after the event.
Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. This 30-minute activity takes place at the library. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

During the welcome ceremony, a time capsule containing memorabilia, current newspapers, and a copy of FBCL’s Hopes for the Future book will be sealed and stored in the library’s Genealogy and Local History Department for re-opening at Fort Bend Co
Cake and punch will be served in the Bohachevsky Gallery.
