Join us this summer for a Summer of Code! We will be playing fun coding games as well as learning about Scratch. Summer of Code will meet the second and fourth Monday for grades 4-8 only. Registration is required.

Kids will get hands-on experience doing science experiments ranging from everything from making polymers to bending metal. Did we mention we’ll be making SLIME? All experiments are safe, non-toxic, and won’t leave a mess to clean up.

Calling all comic book fans -- join us for a graphic-novel celebration! Create your own upcycled buttons, decoupage art, or giant comic strip. Play some trivia, win prizes, and more!

Are you ready to venture on an extraordinary animal educational journey filled with laughter, learning, and awe-inspiring creatures? Join the Creature Teacher for a live animal program featuring exciting exotic animals!

Enjoy creating a new paint color, building a doghouse, testing paper airplanes, and much more! Participants will use a variety of materials to explore and learn how things work. Free snacks will be provided.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families. This 30-minute program will conclude with an age-appropriate take-home craft activity. Pajamas and blankets are welcome!

Let’s make robots move, talk, and dance!  Join our Coding and Robotics program designed for beginners to explore and learn coding with a robot.  Recommended for students going into 4th - 8th grades.

Children in grades 4-8 are invited to learn about 3D Printing at the library.  We will be designing keychains on Tinkercad that can be picked up from the Youth Department in the following week.

Experience the mind-clearing benefits of connecting with the earth, in this program geared for youth in grades 4-8.  Each participant will become familiar with the basic methods of construction and sculptural techniques.

Join us to become real life Minecraft players by digging for treasure! You never know what you'll dig up!
