Working on a craft? Bring it to the Fulshear Branch Library! If you don’t have a craft to work on, a DIY project will be provided. 

Do you like to crochet, knit, or sew? Bring your yarn, strings, and needles to Fulshear Branch Library and let’s thread together! Nifty Needlers meets the third Tuesday of each month. All skill levels are welcome. No registration is required.

Are You Smarter Than a Librarian?

Did you know that traveling to different countries expands your perception of the diversity of cultures?  Grab your passport, we are going on an adventure around the world at the library!

Sewing by Hand Club is a class where we will go over different sewing methods, techniques, and projects. Each month we will learn techniques and discuss how they can be used to repair clothing or create new sewing projects.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages. Take-home crafts will be available at the end of the program.

We are unable to accommodate daycares and school groups in this program.

Adventure begins at your library with our Explore Your World program! Take part in fun, educational activities developed by Para Los Ninos while learning more about the world around you.

Get ready for a sprinkle of competition and a dollop of fun. Participants will get a chance to showcase their cupcake decorating skills during this event. All supplies will be provided.

Come learn how to make a bookmark of your favorite manga panel! All supplies provided. Materials for this program were generously provided by the Friends of First Colony Branch Library. This program is intended for peoples ages 13 and older.

Grab a friend and join us for a fun afternoon of all kinds of games! We'll be playing video games, tabletop games, life-sized games, and a special Twister challenge! This program is for youth in grades 6-8 only.

Learn how to crochet! This class will provide you with materials, teach you necessary terms, and provide instruction on how to create basic crochet stitches.

Have you always wanted to try your hand at calligraphy? Are you interested in learning how to write with flair? Join us and learn about the art of calligraphy and other hand lettering skills. Materials will be supplied. Registration required.
