Through the use of voice, drum, banjo and guitar musicians JAWAD and Joseph demonstrate the two basic elements of music rhythm and melody.  This interactive performance will introduce children to the concepts of tone, pitch, rhythm and melody

Join us for a thrilling opportunity to meet a mermaid who will visit us on-land to share some tales of sea animals and teach us how to make sure the ocean stays safe for mermaids and sea creatures everywhere!

High school students are invited to join this advisory council.  Attendees can earn volunteer hours and enhance their college application or resume while helping their community.  Registration is not required.

Mother Goose Time is a 30-minute multi-sensory activity time designed for pre-walkers from 0-12 months of age. Mother Goose Time includes rhymes, finger plays, and lullabies designed for early educational development.

Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with toddlers aged 1-3 years. This 30-minute program will conclude with an age-appropriate craft activity.

A multisensory program featuring songs, simple sign language, finger plays and soothing lullabies for parents and caregivers of young babies. Recommended for infants from birth to 12 months of age, non-walkers.

English-language learners of any level are invited to practice conversation in a friendly, relaxed environment. This group meets the first and third Thursday of the month in Conference Room 2A!

Experience the vibrant Rhythms of Bollywood at this family-friendly program! Families will learn a short energetic segment of choreography backed by energetic Bollywood music--no experience required.

Step back in time and unleash your creativity! Make shrink plastic keychains, friendship bracelets, rock pets, and more during this event! All supplies will be provided.

For children in grades 4-8.  

Join us for a relaxing hour of diamond painting.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library. Registration is required.  For students in grades 9-12.
