People who love books, people who love bargains, and people who need to get rid of some spare change will find a lot in common at the Friends of the Libraries’ Fall Book Sales, where they will discover adult and children’s books, magazines, DVDs, and much more -- all at prices that are hard to beat!

The Friends of the George Memorial Library will also be releasing a commemorative book bag for Fort Bend County Libraries’ 75th anniversary. These special-edition, reusable book bags will be available for $3.00.
Donations of used books, DVDs, and CDs are always welcome, and may be taken to the libraries during regular business hours. All contributions are tax-deductible. Click here for a list of what we can accept and not accept.
The Friends organizations are instrumental in funding library programs such as the children’s Summer Reading Club. Proceeds from the book sales and annual membership dues also help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the libraries.
