Program Description

Description

What’s the commotion about motion? Find out how levers work, learn why every action has a reaction, and watch the relationship between mass and inertia as you discover the science behind motion in all its forms. Explore momentum, friction, and collisions in a unique demonstration of glider carts on an air track, showing how movement is affected by changing conditions. This program is for students going into 1st-5th grades who are able to stay in a program without their caregiver. Seating is limited; students must receive a hand-stamp during the hour before the program. We are unable to accommodate school groups and daycares. This program is sponsored by the Friends of Cinco Ranch Library.
