Description

Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families.

This month’s topic is: I’m Retired & I Want to Master Homeownership!  Owning a home is promoted as the American dream — and for good reason. But what happens when home ownership no longer brings you joy or becomes too much to handle?  Learn the facts about taxes, insurance, property values, pest control, yard maintenance, home warranties, homeowner associations, and many other homeownership related issues.

Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic.  This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.  No registration required.

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
